An audio webtoon adaptation based on the webtoon "The Part-Time Job of Gods" has been produced.
Audio webtoons are secondary works that integrate motion graphics and audio content with webtoon images, garnering attention as a new mobile media-exclusive content alongside the recent trend of watching and listening webtoons.
"The Part-Time Job of Gods" is a popular Noblesse comic based on the original web novel, gaining popularity on both domestic and international platforms.
It belongs to the fantasy genre, telling the story of the protagonist, Yoo Dam-deok, who lives as an eternal part-timer without talent in the present day but gains abilities one day, growing in the world of Greek and Roman gods and dungeons, typical of the boy fantasy, monster chicken genre.
Organic Intelligence Studio aims to expand and validate the unique entertainment elements of the fantasy genre through "The Part-Time Job of Gods" as another media content of audio webtoons. Starting with this project, they plan to develop and expand many webtoons and web novels in the industry that have not expanded into secondary works.
This project was conducted in collaboration between Storywiz, a content IP business company under KT, and Organic Intelligence Studio. It will be available on major domestic and international content platforms in the first half of 2024.

Comics, which were once flipped through as paper books, have changed into vertical-scroll webtoons based on smartphones. Spatial audio technology-based content production company Organic Intelligence Studio announced the launch of the immersive content service "Cinematic Docent" for the exhibition art industry.
Unlike conventional audio guides that provide only basic artwork explanation information, Cinematic Docent offers personalized immersive exhibition content experiences even within crowds by providing storytelling content based on the exhibited artworks.
Utilizing the first-person spatial audio technology, OI-Sounds, owned by Organic Intelligence Studio, Cinematic Docent offers immersive content experiences that provide a full 360-degree spatial sensation using common earphones or headphones.
Hyun Tae-ho, CEO of Organic Intelligence Studio, stated, "Cinematic Docent provides a next-generation exhibition content experience that can be enjoyed in the mobile environment of smartphones and earphones, offering immersive content experiences that are difficult to access through traditional audio guides or regular audio tours." He further added, "It is designed as a personalized service specialized for crowded offline spaces such as exhibitions, trade shows, tourist attractions, and media art, and is planned for continuous commercialization in various fields."
Currently, this content can be experienced at ongoing exhibitions such as "Ilya Milstein: Cabinet of Memories" at My Art Museum in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and the permanent exhibition at the Ahn Hae Museum in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi-do.
Organic Intelligence Studio, leveraging its proprietary spatial audio technology, is engaged in producing various online contents such as audio webtoons and audio movies. Moreover, in 2023, it plans to expand its business to the offline content area with Cinematic Docent as a focal point.

Audio media-based original story IP development company Organic Intelligence Studio (CEO Hyun Tae-ho) announced the release of the audio webtoon content format along with a prototype.
Audio webtoons are evaluated as the next-generation secondary content genre and revenue model in the webtoon industry, combining motion graphics, music, and audio storytelling with the traditional vertical-scrolling format of webtoons.
CEO Hyun Tae-ho of Organic Intelligence Studio stated, "Unlike animation, which requires a lot of production costs and time, audio webtoons are original content produced at a lower cost and in a shorter period. Ultimately, the quality of audio storytelling that integrates minimal motion graphics determines its completeness. We aim to lead the saturated domestic webtoon industry to the next generation by combining our spatial audio technology and in-house content planning/production capabilities into 'audio webtoons,' beyond simply dubbing voices onto motion graphics."

OI-Studio, an audio media-based original story IP development company (CEO Tae-ho Hyun), announced that it will release the audio movie ‘Utopia On Mars’ after completing its production.
‘Utopia On Mars’ is an audio movie that deals with the story of the first generation of humanity settling on Mars after leaving a dystopian Earth in the near future. It is the first SF drama genre in the audio content industry.
Based on the technology and production capabilities that OI-Studio has accumulated over time, this work aims to present a new paradigm in the audio content market by overcoming the limitations of audio media grammar and genre that only deal with hearing.

In order to continue to expand this cultural phenomenon, we have determined that ‘original IP that can be applied and expanded in various media’ is the core value. Currently, the content industry is led by webtoons and web novels. We dream of overcoming the limitations of the IP business model centered on text media and converging with a new market called ‘audio content’, as well as evolving the original IP business model itself. The studio produces ‘first-person immersive audio content’ based on its own 3D sound recording technology. The main services are ‘audio movies’ based on webtoon, web novel, and published book IPs, ‘music dramas’ that combine storytelling with K-pop, and ‘2.0 audiobooks’ that go beyond simple reading and summarization.
▲ How do you generate revenue?
First, we distribute revenue through the RS (Revenue Share) method. The ‘audio-music platform’ market has evolved into a new form by combining the three traditional podcast-audiobook, music streaming platform, and audio SNS. This market will share performance such as streaming counts and payment counts with distribution platforms. The situation of platforms that need high-quality original content and the needs of production companies that need cooperation in distribution and promotion are met, and the goal is a win-win strategy between large companies and startups. In addition, many audio movies and music dramas produced and distributed with high production efficiency verify primary data such as popularity and box office success on the audio-music platform and give birth to box office original story IPs. These original story IPs are reverse-expanded into webtoons and web novels, expanded into dramas and movies in the second and third stages, and achieve diversified revenue.

Even just 1 or 2 years ago, the view on audio media-based business was skeptical. However, the convergence growth of the market as a whole quickly changed that view and opened up many business opportunities worldwide. Starting this year, we plan to actively attract investment. “Government policies that follow trends should be avoided…”
▲ What would you like from the government?
First of all, I would like government policies that follow trends to be avoided. Metaverse, Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), and Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs) seem to be able to provide new value to humanity in theory. However, I think that even government policies should not be swayed by marketing keywords that are misused like trends without concrete reality and self-verification. If the current venture boom is to become the future driving force of the nation rather than a waste of taxes, it must be able to escape from the collective hypnosis engulfed by terms and marketing such as dot-com bubble and ubiquitous. In the end, if you only talk about ‘data’, you will end up chasing someone else’s tail. Performance and data in government policies are undoubtedly figures that cannot be ignored. It is objective information, but in startups that have a vision of ‘creating new value’, it is sometimes paradoxical. Therefore, most of them end up with a copycat model that follows foreign examples again with verified business and data. In order for Korean society to move on to the next stage, it must not be done with a fast follower mentality.

The audio-based content industry is at the stage of ‘popularization’. Rather than competing with someone, platforms and production companies must work together to grow the entire industry and build and realize a new business model that no one has ever done before. To do this, we must break down the old media grammar of the past and provide content that today’s public can accept. Based on our planning and production capabilities as a production company, we would like to present killer content in the industry in the very near future. And we will lead the audio market itself as a next-generation original story IP powerhouse that surpasses webtoons and web novels.

OI-Studio, a company that develops original story IPs based on audio media, announced on the 17th that it has completed the production of the audio film “Nevertheless” and will release it.
The audio film “Nevertheless,” based on a collection of essays of the same name, received a great response when it was first shown at the Next Content Fair in 2021. The work was produced with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Publication Industry Promotion Agency and will be available for listening through Naver Audio Clip from the third week of November.
